Marsworth Preschool is a registered charity and is totally self-supporting. Whilst we aim to cover such items as rent and basic running costs from the fees, most of the time they only just covercosts. To meet additional costs we suggest a voluntary £10 contribution per half term, which is attached to you invoice. This is non-obligatory, but does mean less fund raising is needed.
The current fees per session are:
For Children aged 3 years & over
Morning £12 (2.5 hours x £4.80 per hour)
Afternoon £12 (2.5 hours x £4.80 per hour)
For Children under 3 years
Morning £13.88 (2.5 hours x £5.55 per hour)
Afternoon £13.88 (2.5 hours x £5.55 per hour)
When a child has their 3rd Birthday before a half term break then the 3 year olds rate will apply for the 2nd half term. All fees are payable half-termly in advance by the end of the first week of the half term.
All children aged 3-5 years are entitled to 15 hours per week government funding, i.e six educational sessions per week are free.
Children become eligible for this the term after their 3rd birthday.
Lunch clubs however, are not government funded and are chargeable.
Any sessions in addition to the six funded (free) sessions will be charged at £10.50 per session.
A child whose 3rd birthday falls between:
1 April – 31 August inclusive, is eligible for funding from 1 September or from the start of the Autumn term.
1 September – 31 December inclusive, is eligible for funding from 1 January or from the start of the Spring term.
1 January – 31 March inclusive, is eligible for funding from 1 April or from the start of the Summer term.
Other funding may be available. This includes Early Educational Funding (EEF) for two year olds, and Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP). Please ask a member of staff for more information.
We are also happy to accept childcare vouchers from your employer.
