- Children can attend any combination of sessions – sessions need to be booked before the beginning of each term with the rota secretary. The younger children normally attend two sessions a week and gradually increase the number of sessions as they grow older and closer to school age.
- We welcome children from the age of 2 to 5 years. The pre-school operates on an adult:children ratio of 1:4 for children under 3 and 1:8 for those over 3, as recommended by the Preschool Learning Alliance. This means that we do have restrictions on the number of places available. Parents can participate in voluntary duties in order to maintain these ratios.
- We do not have a specific catchment area. The preschool is, therefore, open to children from any of the surrounding towns and villages including Marsworth, Wilstone, Long Marston, Astrope, Puttenham, Mentmore, Horton, Crafton, Gubblecote, Pitstone, Ivinghoe, Tring, Cheddington, Slapton, Aston Clinton and Ivinghoe Aston. We have children attending from as far afield as Aylesbury, Wing and Berkhamsted.
- Children may start on any day of the week, at any point in the term.
